We had a very lovely time. The Hotel was very clean and the people wonderful. Highly recommended. Travel to several places in Portugal, and definitely Espinho was a very special stop. On your next vacation, try to visit Portugal, we loved the country and special the people.

A lovely hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. Good breakfast selection. Try and get second floor rooms, as can hear the movement of chairs and people in the restaurant below if you are in a first floor room pool side. Supermarket a few minutes walk. Nice pool, but too cold in June to swim. A nice walk to the beach ond promenade. For restaurants, don't eat in the beach front ones, like Golfinho. They are tourist traps and expensive. Try the back street restaurants, they are nicer and better value. A taxi to Porto airport is around fifty euros.

Excellent hotel with very supportive staff. Breakfast had a good selection of hot or cold, and if not there, just ask. The hotel is a 15-20 walk outside of town, but we found that it is an excellent way to exercise and build an appetite for three evening meals ( note some restaurants don't open until 7.00pm) The hotel pool was well sheltered with beds available Rooms very clean and well service Bar available when required Good all round and thanks to all the reception staff for their advice and help

This hotel was as near to perfect as it gets for us. We stayed as a family of four in a Sea View Suite on the first floor. The 2 rooms were very comfortable. Large double bed for adults and fold out sofa bed for the children. The bed was so comfortable. The block out shutters helped us get a great night’s sleep each night. There is a spotless clean pool with about 20 beds surrounding it. It tended to get busy later in the afternoon as people checked in but we never had trouble finding somewhere to lie. Breakfast was a buffet with plenty of choice. We still had plenty to choose from after 5 mornings. The staff was brilliant. Especially the restaurant and cleaning staff. They were so considerate and kind. The WiFi worked well and the TV had lots of channel choice. It is a decent walk to Espinho town centre.but well worth the effort. There is a Continente supermarket and a McDonalds a short walk away. The boardwalk is about 500m away as is the beach. We plan to stay here again next Summer

Liked · The room is large, very clean and has nice newer furniture; nice automated blinds; staff is helpful and professional. Nice pool area and great food at restaurant. I liked that they provided tongues for breakfast for each guest to avoid same tongue being touched by tens of hands. Great idea! The restaurant food and the only waiter we've had were great. Prices are decent; I wish they would not charge so much for bread and olives- considering they are cheap to get. Very close by, walking distance, there is a grocery store where you can get essentials and food. They also have a coin laundromat, which can come in handy. The garage under the hotel was great, well lit and secure; also free. Overall, the hotel and staff was nice. I would recommend it for somebody who is looking for a quiet, comfortable place to spend time. Disliked · For a "beach" hotel, you would expect to provide something to be able to dry swimsuits or towels on the balcony. A retractable string would have been of great help. Some wall decor and less plastic flowers would make the place more artsy. The breakfast was a little of a disappointment. Very few options, most of the time there was no omelette or bacon, no water, no cups. They seemed clearly understaffed in the breakfast area- only two people who were cooking, bringing out trays, cleaning. They looked stressed and overworked. Towels for the pool were provided, but they mentioned to hold on them for the entire stay. The pool water is cold, but that seems like a Portuguese thing- all pools we've tried in Portugal were not heated and cold. The beach was on red flag the entire 4 days we were there; they did not allow people to go in the ocean. To be honest, the high waves and cold water would have kept me away from getting in anyway. The area around the hotel is ok, more of a residential area. The walk to the closest beach is not at all scenic. Not close either. Not much to do in the area in the evening- a car seems to be a must to travel to other more entertaining areas.

El hotel es nuevo y la decoración de las habitaciones muy mona, solo hay un enchufe disponible para cargar móviles y no cerca de la mesilla, la recepcionista no muy profesional y poco amable. En la reserva ponía 30 minutos de jacuzzi por habitación y dia el checkin es a las 16:00h pero como hay que reservarlo ese día te quedas sin jacuzzi porque ya no hay huecos, me siento engañada. Por lo demás todo correcto.

4 años hemos visitado este hotel, siempre exlente, siempre atendiendo nuestras sugerencias, hasta este año que sorprendentemente ya no ha sido lo mismo, y sobre todo kas dis recepcionistas rubias antipáticos, la jovencira de gafas y la morena genial, perolas dos rubias no entiendo el tono y la forma de dirigirse a nosotros. Es una pena lo teníamos como nuestro hotel cada vez que íbamos a Esphino pero se ve que ya no es lo mismo.

Una pena. Habíamos estado varias veces en el hotel y siempre acabamos encantados, por eso vivimos este año. Pedimos por favor una habitación silenciosa en piso superior, pues dormimos muy mal. Nos dijeron que según disponibilidad, lo entiendo. Llegamos a las 10,30 de las mañana y el cheking no se podía hacer hasta las 4, nos dijeron no obstante que nos avisaban cuando estuviera disponible la habitación, repetimos lo de silenciosa. Nadie nos llama, llegamos a las 4 y nos Dan una habitación en el primer piso y en la calle principal, justo lo contrario a lo solicitado. La recepcionista muy borde, nos dice que han tenido 14 entradas y que es lo que hay, que otros habían hecho la reserva antes y nos relata la fecha de reserva de las habitaciones de manera muy poco educada. Viene la que nos atrevéis por la mañana y entonces encuentran una para el día sígueme, en piso superior pero la misma calle. Nos proponen dejar la habitación antes de las 12 y coger la nueva a las 4, otra vez todo el día esperando coger la habitación. Que lo pensáramos. Al día siguiente a las 9 decimos que no nos cambiamos pues el ruido va a ser similar y la nueva recepcionista de forma borde también nos dice que nos tebeos que cambiar porque lo hemos solicitado cuando nos dijeron que decidiéramos y les dijéramos en el desayuno, la cuestión es qué indicación le habría dado la recepcionista del check para que se dirija así a nosotros. Por eso una pena, el hotel nos encanta, la limpieza perfecta, el personal de cafetería súper amable pero el staff de recepción deja mucho que desear.
